Elham Beheshti

Hi! I am an experienced UX researcher and designer at the intersection of human-centered design and emerging technologies. I live in New York City and currently work as a lead UX/UI researcher at ETS (Educational Testing Service), one of the world's largest educational testing and assessment organizations. I manage a team of UX researchers and designers and lead UX research in cross-functional, agile product development teams within Product Innovation & Development to support creating research-driven, user-obsessed learning and assessment products. Before ETS, I worked as a researcher at the New York Hall of Science, where I studied how innovative technologies can enhance learning experiences that happen at museums and after-school programs. And before joining NYSCI, I was a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University’s Department of Communication Studies.

I completed my doctorate in computer science at Northwestern University. I got my master’s of science degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, and received my bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.
